In manufacturing our carpets, whenever possible we use the most environmentally friendly fibres and resins. We use natural gas as the main source of energy with the aim of improving the quality of air we breathe.
VELTEX has its own wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) that treats the wastewater produced by its activity. A filter press separates the waste latex from the water. The water obtained at the end of the process flows to the treated water catch basin, connected to the drainage system. And the sludge is managed as hazardous water by an authorised waste manager.
